Thanksgiving came with my thoughtful friend Sue dropping off some home baked goods.
The Friday after Thanksgiving was the Lighting of the Woodstock square. We try to go every year. It was pretty warm this year so there were record crowds.
November brought us a record breaking snowfall. 13" to be more accurate.
It was the perfect time to start decorating for Christmas. I couldn't go out for awhile until the snow was cleared so I spent my time listening to Celine Dion's Christmas CD while decorating.
I have been changing out this bird cage seasonally.
And this gumball machine gets changed out seasonally too.
I filled up my milk glass cake stands with vintage Christmas corsages. I tried to color coordinate them.
There's more.....
And there's this group....
Here they are with some of my other collections.
The Westmoreland sleigh holds vintage ornaments.
Love my vintage aluminum tree holding Santa ornaments. It's my Santa tree!
Some of my vintage Santa's, Pixie's and Angels.
Reindeer and Santa's....
Soooooo cute.....
This was one of my finds this year....
A few more finds....
And then I couldn't pass him up....
Here's a look from my dining room.
Usually this time of year I get the urge to clean out collections and to finish some projects. I have been looking for a vintage frame for my maternal Grandparents wedding party photo. I recently found the perfect one and hung it up above my paternal Grandparents wedding photo.
The frame is amazing! It is so beautiful. I kept the German confirmation certificate underneath the photo to act as a border. It looks so nice.
My friend Cecilia added to my collections with our Christmas present exchange....
And there's more....a vintage corsage....vintage jewelry....
At a last minute stop at an estate sale, I added to my vintage corsage collection. Love!!!!!
This is my favorite time of year. My favorite holiday decorations to find and to collect.
Happy treasure hunting.....
Thanks for all these photos. Beautiful Christmas decorations. Love the grandparent photos/frames! Merry Christmas!
